On 1st March 2024 the official website of the anime “If My Wife Becomes an Elementary School Student ” released a new Teaser visual and information about the main cast. The previously announced “If My Wife Becomes an Elementary School Student.”(Japanese name: Tsuma, Shōgakusei ni Naru) anime adaptation is a TV anime scheduled for this year.

Q1: How did you feel when you heard that it would be made into an anime?
I was surprised to hear that it would be made into an anime as well as a drama. I was very happy. It was one of my dreams, so I thought I had made it come true. I would like to express my deep gratitude to the producers, staff, and readers who selected my work.
Q2.What are your expectations for the anime?
I’m simply happy when the manga pictures move. I’m curious about how the voice actors will play the characters, and how the world will look when combined with the music, such as the OP, ED, and BGM during the play. As a viewer, I would like to enjoy the production and supplementary scenes that are unique to anime.
Q3, a word to the fans
I once visited the dubbing site, and I felt that all the staff involved in the production of this work were passionate about making this anime a good one. I think the result will satisfy even manga and drama fans!

Q1, Impressions after reading the original work
The introduction of the story is a comedy-style reincarnation story, but it is a work that directly depicts the eternal separation from a loved one and the life of those left behind. At first, I was devastated because I had imagined an ending in which someone would find happiness through ‘special magical powers’, which is common in fiction.
Q2: What do you particularly focus on when making anime?
Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to depict all of the many emotions that the original work took so much time and care to express, so how should I summarize them? I’ve listened to the opinions of the author of the original work, and I’ve decided to make the film even more family-centered. It is drawn on.
Q3. A word to the fans
In the end, the main character acts positively and forcefully for the sake of his loved ones, even without special magical powers. It’s not a convenient anime ending, but Keisuke and Takae come across as real heroes and heroines. Please stay tuned.
