Crayon Shin-chan New Movie's Story Is Reportedly Set In India

Recently, The Crayon Shin-chan’s 31st 2D film or 32nd Overall film, “Crayon Shin-chan the Movie: Our Dinosaur Diary” (Japanese Name: Eiga Crayon Shin-chan Movie: Ora-tachi no Kyoryu Nikki) is released in Japan in August 9, 2024. This movie has grossed 2.1 billion yen with 1.77 million people attending in its 4 weeks of release.

Reporting from Virtual Gorilla Plus‘ spoiler review on this 32nd overall film, It is revealed that the next stage of Shin-chan’s movie will be set in India. This post-credit scene shows the next movie preview, where Shin-chan and his friends have appeared in India. They say the famous Indian greeting “Namaste” in the background.

From the Japanese reviews from Ride-On-Movie.com and Pixiv.net, we can briefly explain this movie’s post-credit scene, where the Famous Seven Wonders of the World, the Taj Mahal is shown in the background with Indians who living in the city. Shin-chan and Bo-chan are shown in traditional costumes. Bo-Chan is shown playing the flute and Shin-chan humming a song whose lyrics are something like “Come on baby ~ I’m a popular guy” which is true that Shin-chan has been really popular among Indian audiences for decades.

It is also revealed that Kazama, Nene, and Masao appeared in this post credit and they also started dancing on the song Shin-chan is humming. As always, the post-credit ended with Shin-chan’s mom “Misae Nohara” screaming in Panicked Voice “Shin-chan” and “Release date decided in 2025” is shown.

About Crayon Shin-chan

Crayon Shin-chan (Japanese name: Kureyon Shin-chan), is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yoshito Usui. It made its first appearance in 1990 in a Japanese weekly magazine called Weekly Manga Action, which was published by Futabasha. Due to the sudden death of author Yoshito Usui, the manga in its original form ended on September 11, 2009. A new manga began in the summer of 2010 and was created by members of Usui’s team.

This manga later got an anime adaptation which began airing on TV Asahi in 1992 and is still ongoing on several television networks worldwide and has over 1000 episodes. The show has been dubbed in 30 languages which aired in 45 countries.

This anime franchise has a total of 32 movies and Movie 31 was the first ever 3DCG Shin-chan movie titled “ Crayon Shin-chan Movie 31: Chounouryoku Daikessen – Tobe Tobe Temakizushi” which is also the highest grossing shin-chan movie till now.
