Just in from Jump Festa 2025, the brand new Key Visual and trailer are released for the 2nd Cour (Part 2) of the popular ongoing anime “Blue Box” (Japanese Name: Ao no Hako) based on the original manga by Kouji Miura. They also announced the new theme song artists for this second half of Ao no Hako. It is revealed that Ayame Moriya will be voiced by Kana Ichinose. They also announced the new theme song artists for part 2 of this anime. The new opening theme song “Saraba” will be performed by Macaroni Empitsu and the new ending theme song “Contrast” will be performed by TOMOO. This anime will take 1 week break and resumes its broadcasting January 2, 2025.
Animation Studio Telecom Animation Film is animating this anime. The previously announced cast includes Shoya Chiba as Taiki Inomata, Reina Ueda as Chinatsu Kano, and Akari Kito as Hina Chono.

The series focuses on Taiki Inomata, a student at Eimei Junior and Senior High who is a boys’ badminton team member. However, Chinatsu moves in with Taiki’s family when her parents leave Japan to work abroad. Blue Box (Japanese name: Ao no Hako) is a Japanese manga written and illustrated by Kouji Miura. Since April 2021, It has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump. On August 3, 2020, the first one-shot of Blue Box was released in Weekly Shonen Jump. This manga’s first Volume was released on August 4, 2021. As of October 2023, there are 12 Volumes of this manga series are published.
Blue Box has been licensed in North America for simultaneous publication as it is digitally launched by Viz Media on its Shonen Jump website and in Japan. Shueisha also publishes this series in English for free on the Manga Plus app and website. Viz Media announced that they had licensed the series in print format in February 2022. The first English volume was released on November 1, 2022.
